New Work: Direct Sketch

Direct sketching is a challenge to new styles of painting that expands the possibilities of expression.These original works are painted freely within a single day, capturing the unique bleeding effects and expressions of light characteristic of watercolor. Unlike large-scale (high-density) works, I paint these by valuing the momentary atmosphere, the inherent freshness of watercolor, and satisfying brushstrokes.
