ABOUT
MASATO WATANABE

Based in Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture, I have built a professional career over many years producing architectural CG renderings and background designs for digital games.
Currently, I focus primarily on creating watercolor paintings on paper. I pursue my own unique style by combining the precise perspective and attention to detail cultivated through my architectural work with the soft, beautiful textures unique to watercolor.
What I value most is "recreating the atmosphere as if you were standing in that very spot the moment you arrived." I pour my heart into each piece, carefully depicting light, shadows, and the pulse of the streets and nature. It brings me joy to think that while looking at my paintings, you might feel a quiet, profound sense of realism, as if you had stepped into that scenery before you knew it.
For the past decade, I have specialized in online activities, connecting with fans worldwide through the digital sphere. I have delivered over 200 original hand-painted works to collectors in more than 20 countries, all arriving safely and without a single issue.
While valuing the free connections that digital technology makes possible, I will continue to share scenes that resonate with the heart to the world.
⚫︎On international art platforms, I feature my high-density landscape watercolors.
