Autumn weather at the storehouse

This watercolor sketch depicts the scene of a sake brewery, characterized by its white plastered walls, timber-framed storehouse, and large wooden vats etched with the passage of time. I have captured a peaceful moment in a quiet courtyard bathed in the soft sunlight of autumn, where the imposing buildings and large vats cast dense shadows, and looking up, the changing leaves color the treetops. By utilizing a light and fluid touch, I hope to convey the crisp autumn air, the warmth of the wood, the profound stillness, and the tradition of Japan.
