Sakura Street

This watercolor sketch depicts a spring street scene canopied by cherry blossoms in full bloom. It captures a row of cherry trees shining like a tunnel of light under the soft spring sun, along with the gentle, flickering patterns of light filtering through the branches onto the road. The piece captures the unique beauty and soft atmosphere of spring found within an ordinary street scene. By using a light and translucent touch to finish the work in one go, I have expressed the delicate texture of the blossoming flowers.
